An 11,400-acre master-planned community bordered to the north by Mallard Lake and Cypress Creek and located off Fry Road in Cypress. Bridgeland offers easy access to U.S. 290 and FM 529.

Community amenities include a network of lakes and parks connected by bridges and trails, with 3,000 acres devoted to creation and conservation of open space including 60 miles of trails and 900 acres of lakes.

Oak Meadow Park is a 30-acre wooded park with picnic areas, a covered pavilion with restrooms, a fishing pier on a stocked lake and an 18-hole disc golf course. Shores Park is a 4-acre open park with a pavilion.

Wooded and fitness trails include Cypress Creek Trail, a 6-mile trail meandering through a canopy of trees with wildlife observation areas, and House-Hahl Trail, a 1-mile trail with multiple fitness stations.

Lakeland Activity Center, the first of many recreation facilities planned in Bridgeland, is a 6 acre complex complete with a 6,000-square-foot community center, lap pool, diving well, twin sky slides, spray park, tennis courts and playground.

Proposed amenities include a town center and a nine onsite schools, places of worship, hospitals and employment opportunities.
