Most students in the area attend schools in the Denton Independent School District including Savannah Elementary School, Rodriguez Middle School and Braswell High School. Denton is also home to two major higher learning institutions: the University of North Texas and Texas Woman’s University. UNT is well-known for its robust music program which was the first to offer a degree in the field of jazz studies. Support your local team and attend a Mean Green Gameday!
