Education
Residents of Northlake, TX will find themselves situated in one of three excellent school districts serving the town: Northwest ISD, Argyle ISD and Ponder ISD.

Northwest Independent School District serves portions of three North Texas counties and covers the largest portion of Northlake of the three districts mentioned. The district serves nearly 20,000 students across 31 campuses - residents living in the southern portion of Northlake will likely attend Lance Thompson Elementary, Pike Middle School and Northwest High School.

Argyle Independent School District boasts a population of about 3,000 students across five schools. Campuses include Hilltop Elementary, Argyle West Elementary, Argyle Intermediate School, Argyle Middle School and Argyle High School.

Ponder Independent School District offers students three schools: Ponder Elementary, Ponder Junior High School and Ponder High School. The district serves a total of more than 1500 students across its campuses and encompasses the northernmost region of Northlake.
