Perry Homes Employees Engage in Company-Wide Community Initiative in Honor of Earth Day and Arbor Day
Houston, TX (April 2026) - The Perry Homes Foundation hosted a company-wide day of service on April 24th in celebration of Earth Day and National Arbor Day. The Perry Homes Gives Back initiative mobilized employees across Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Tampa and Jacksonville in environmental efforts and outdoor beautification projects. This initiative also coincided with the organization’s ongoing, multi-year commitment with the Arbor Day Foundation to support the donation and planting of trees across its markets.
“Giving back is essential to who we are as an organization and allows us to provide our team members with the purpose-driven experiences they value,” said Kristi Cooper, Director of Perry Homes Foundation. “In doing so, we continue to build a culture where service, growth and community go hand in hand.”
This volunteer event was designed to positively impact communities while strengthening relationships among team members. By stepping directly into the communities they serve, Perry Homes employees dedicated their time to many projects in Houston, including invasive species removal at Kleb Woods Nature Center and litter clean up at Keith Weiss Park. Perry Homes also partnered with Vivid Visions Outdoors, which donated landscaping materials, for the team members to construct an outdoor garden and educational space at Shadow Creek Elementary.
The day of service also featured outdoor initiatives at the Center for Child Protection in Austin, Morgan’s Wonderland in San Antonio and Seamark Ranch in Jacksonville, and beautification efforts at The Dream Center of Tampa. With a wide variety of project types, and flexible participation options, this initiative ensured team members had the opportunity to contribute.
“Initiatives like Perry Homes Gives Back are about investing in the communities in which we build,” said Kathy Britton, Executive Chair of Perry Homes. “When our employees engage directly with our communities, they build connections, meet real needs and create lasting impact where it matters most.”
Over the past year, Perry Homes has deepened its commitment to community impact through a more strategic and intentional approach to philanthropy. This initiative serves as a natural extension of the Foundation’s mission, further solidifying the company’s position as a leader in the communities where its employees live and work.
