Warranty Work During COVID-19

As we all take steps to cope with the situation surrounding COVID-19, we want to take a moment to outline our temporary Warranty Customer Service Request process being implemented through March 31st. Focusing on everyone’s safety we will only schedule and complete work for Urgent Customer Service Requests. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Gas leak
  • Pipe leak/blockage
  • No electricity, no water or no HVAC at the home
  • Roof leak
  • Other items that would affect the safety or structural integrity of the home

ALL other Warranty Customer Service Requests will be completed once we are able to resume normal business operations.

Warranty Submission (Urgent and non-Urgent)

  1. To best keep track of ALL requests, please use the warranty request form found at www.PerryHomes.com/Warranty to submit your request.
  2. For after hours Urgent Warranty Service Requests
    1. Along with submitting the request via the link listed above, please directly contact the respective Major Mechanical to schedule Emergency Service.
  3. Rest assured that should the 2-year warranty included with your Perry Home expire during this time, we will honor the submission date of the request and complete the work once we are able to resume normal business operations.

Urgent Warranty Work

  1. Should the need arise for us to complete an Urgent Warranty Service Request at your home during the next 2 weeks, our staff and technicians will maintain the “social distancing” requirements as set by the CDC.
  2. Instead of homeowner signatures, Perry Homes Project Managers will use emails to confirm and close out Warranty Service Requests.
  3. If work for an Urgent Warranty Service Request has been or needs to be scheduled and someone in your household is exhibiting signs or symptoms of COVID-19, immediately contact the Perry Homes Warranty Department at 800-24PERRY (800-247-3779) so that we may create a plan for your specific situation.

For the health and safety of both you, our employees and independent contractors, representatives responding to warranty requests will be asking a series of questions to determine the safety of entering your home.
