East Dallas is known as the Lake & Garden District thanks to gorgeous White Rock Lake and the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden alongside the lake. It offers convenient access to many other prominent areas in Dallas, including Highland Park, Garland and Uptown. Its beautiful scenery and outdoor areas have shaped the identity of this area.
