Perry Homes Partners With Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity for Women's Build Initiave
Dallas, TX (May 2026) - Perry Homes, one of the region’s leading homebuilders, continues to strive to give back to the communities we serve and is proud to announce a renewed partnership with Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity. Through its Women’s Build Initiative, the nonprofit focuses on mobilizing women across the community to build, advocate, and fundraise for safe and affordable housing.
As part of the build effort, 20 employees from Perry Homes, alongside 10 Dallas Habitat volunteers, dedicated their time and skills to advancing construction on a future home in the Mill City neighborhood of Dallas. This team assisted with loading and installing blue board, sheathing and other essential building materials throughout the day.
“We are excited to welcome Perry Homes back in support of our Women Build initiative, raising awareness and addressing barriers to homeownership for women-led households,” said Ashley Brundage, President and CEO of Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity. “Too many women, especially single mothers and women of color, continue to face systemic barriers to homeownership. National data underscores this disparity, with single Latina and Black women having the lowest homeownership rates. Perry Homes’ partnership is helping create lasting opportunity for families historically excluded from homeownership.”
The Women Build initiative brought together community members and industry professionals in support of Dallas Habitat’s work to provide safe, stable, and affordable housing opportunities for families in need.
“Giving back to the communities where we build has always been a core part of who we are,” said Kathy Britton, Executive Chair at Perry Homes. “We were honored to partner with Habitat for Humanity on this meaningful initiative and proud of our team members who volunteered their time and energy to help make homeownership more accessible for local families. Affordable housing remains a necessity in our communities, and we are honored to support this incredible organization.”
The company’s participation in the Women Build initiative reflected its broader mission of supporting community development, fostering volunteerism among employees and helping strengthen neighborhoods through meaningful partnerships.
